The Senior Merchandiser will be tasked with strengthening and setting up processes within the merchandising and buying functions for a well-established and highly successful fashion business.Client DetailsA highly successful fashion business, which has weathered the 2020 storm incredibly well... and are, in fact, seeing profit growth this year.DescriptionKey responsibilities will include:Initial assessment of requirements within the merchandising and buying functionSetting up and implementing planning tools, WSSI, range plans, budgets, critical path (including buying calendar and company wide promotional events calendar).Quickly identifying key best sellers and ensuring stock levels can achieve maximum sales and profit potential.Creating a robust trialling strategy alongside buying team.Forming successful relationships across the business and wider business in buying, marketing finance and logistics.Forming successful working relationships with key brands and understanding their requirements and improvements in ways of working.Training more junior members of staff to become experts with all planning toolsOther responsibilities will include:
