Are you an experienced Process Engineer looking for an exciting new job opportunityWe are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join a leading cell therapy company based in the Essex area. As the Process Engineer you will be responsible for facilitating the process modifications of the companys new facility and be responsible for implementing process engineering projects related to the continuous improvement of the company.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Process Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will lead the process engineering elements of equipment design and selection for the new facility and associate operations. 2. You will also provide support on innovative or new process technologies from concept / innovation up to commercial scale manufacture (e.g. process sensors & batch control strategies).3. As the process engineer, you will also develop specifications, implement and monitor equipment or processes performance within the operation.4. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering new process improvements and enhance plant / bioprocess operating efficiency and process safety.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. You will need to be educated to degree level or have an equivalent recognised professional technical qualification (CIBSE, CMI, BIFM or CIOB). It is also essential you have experience working within a GMP engineering / facilities management team in a commercial biologics, vaccines, cell or gene therapies, pharmaceutical manufacturing facility ideally within a large multifunctional site. 2. Proven industry experience in working with commercial clients and collaborators as well as good knowledge of EU / MHRA / FDA / HTA / HFEA regulatory requirements.3. Proven understanding of building services, M&E systems, building fabric, BMS, EMS systems and operations.
