NHS Pharmacy Assistant – Essex - NVQ 2 qualification needed!Hunter Gatherer AHP have a niche locum opportunity for a pharmacy assistant to join an esteemed NHS trust in Essex. This is a great chance to gain hospital pharmacy experience & working hours are 9am-5:15pm w/ a 45-minute break – 7.5 working hours per day& 37.5 working hours per week. Main duties of the position are outlined below.– accurately prepare & dispense a wide range of aseptically prepared medicines to wards & the cancer day unit– accurately dispense oral cytotoxic medicines and supportive treatments for cancer patients using JAC computer systemPLEASE NOTE: You MUST hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in pharmacy services to be eligible for this position.
