Job Description

Fenestration Surveyor / Essex and surrounding areas / £35,000 - £40,00 DOEOur client is looking for an experienced Surveyor to join their high end timber window and door manufacturing company.The successful candidate will need experience surveying residential and commercial properties, with sold CAD experience.Role Responsibilities

  • To survey customers orders for timber windows & doors residential and commercial
  • Capture finished frame sizes and contract specification ensuring technical compliance.
  • Successfully manage a varied and challenging portfolio of work.
  • Complete required production drawings for manufacturing.
  • Give expert advice to our clients over the phone, via email communication and face to face on site.
  • Confident communication to a variety of client types (architects / home-owners / contractors / designers) and understand their specific needs.
  • Assist and answer any questions regarding site fitting.
  • Work closely with other team members and departments within the company like Processing, Production and Finance teams.
  • Communicate with upper management and answer any questions from the shop floor.
    • Experience and Qualifications
  • Fenestration surveying or construction qualification
  • Experience in surveying windows and doors on residential properties and commercial projects
  • AutoCAD
  • CSCS Card
  • A good understanding of current building regulations.
  • A good understanding of technical drawings and window installation.
  • Carpentry/Joinery experience is a distinct advantage.
    • Package:-
  • Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • This position is based on-site (London and home counties), from home and occasionally at their head office
  • 40 Hours per week, 8.30 - 17.00
  • 25 day holiday and Team Bonus paid monthly.
