Claremont Fan Court School is a co-educational independent day school for children aged from 2½ to 18 years. The school is set in 99 acres of historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate in Esher, Surrey.We are seeking to appoint a reliable and hard working estate maintenance assistant to work as part of the Estate team responsible for the safe upkeep and running of the school’s facilities.Working throughout the year, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. A flexible approach is available with typical pattern likely to be 7.00am-3.30pm or 9.30am-6.00pm. Key responsibilities of the role include portering, general repairs and maintenance, site security, parking management and event logistics.The successful applicant will be a strong team member and equally capable of working on their own. A good standard of DIY skills to undertake general maintenance and repairs is essential; skilled or semi-skilled trade-qualified would be welcome. Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
