Job Description

The OpportunityTreasury Manager role within a diverse PLC business based in Durham. You will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and will manage Group bank accounts, cash position and to provide support to the accounting team.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the activities of the Group Treasury department and to provide sufficient liquidity to meet the operational cash flows of the Group’s trading subsidiaries as well as avoiding financial risk by evaluating possible exposures in advance.
  • Managing the day-to-day treasury function including all payments, bank accounts and cash pooling, credit cards and petty cash.
  • Responsible for reconciling and managing the Group’s invoice discounting facility.
  • Facilitating and managing the bond requirements across the Group.
  • Derivative trading in relation to exchange rates and commodities for the Group.
  • Consolidation and review of the forecasts of the individual companies across the Group to utilise thegroups banking facilities appropriately and effectively.
  • Overseeing and managing the activities of the Treasury assistant.
  • Responsible for the funding lines for the hire purchase of plant across the Group
  • Maintaining and building on the relationships with the Group’s principal bankers and being the maincontact for all banking enquiries.
