Job Description

RM Recruit are working with an established not-for-profit client to recruit a newly defined Sales Ledger Assistant for their expanding team. This role is a full-time position for circa 6 months with a scope to become permanent for the right candidate.Candidates who possess experience with SUN accounts are of high interest to our client. With outgoing nature, and with excellent attention to detail, this post would see you operate in a busy, front-line role supporting the finance team.Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting with monthly accounts
  • Processing BACS runs
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Managing control accounts
  • Processing of invoices
  • Credit control
  • Managing aged creditors
  • Income expenditure
  • Posting financial transactions accurately
  • Supporting the wider finance team with queries
  • Raising invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining supplier records
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with queries
Our client can offer a hybrid working arrangement with office presence being 4 days a week and 1 day working remotely. Experience within the housing or charity sector would be highly advantageous but candidates from the wider not-for-profit and private sectorsare encouraged to apply as well. The ideal candidate will possess a valid DBS, however candidates without one will still be considered.
