Job Description

A superb opportunity has emerged for a car driving voids and allocations officer to join one of Badenoch and Clarks housing clients in a 3-6 month temporary contract role. You will re-let properties efficiently in line with our clients Voids and Allocation Policies and Procedures and LA nomination agreements, providing a tailored project management approach to each void property and allocation. You will also maintain current waiting lists in line with the organisations Tenure and Allocation Policy.Based in Epsom in Surrey, this is a full time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and the client is keen to recruit a candidate with the following experience/knowledge of: * Managing all aspects of the voids and allocations process for all company properties from the point of notification of end of tenancy through to sign up for new customers, ensuring each stage of the void process is completed on time and recorded accurately. * Working closely with our clients maintenance team and assist with managing the void works process where appropriate in order to identify expected hand back dates, minimise the void period and inform marketing details for property adverts. * Coordinating the reporting of general needs and supported living relets and work alongside the Independent Living Officer to co-ordinate voids and allocations processes and policies.* Facilitating the weekly operational and monthly strategic voids meeting, sending out invitations and taking actions of the meeting. * Co-ordinating the letting of all new properties in liaison with the Local Authority Allocations Team, 3rd party statutory agencies and the Neighbourhood Officers in line with the nomination agreement.* Ensuring when advertising properties and short listing that all relevant Section 106 agreements and Local Lettings Plans are adhered to.* Preparing pre tenancy and sign up packs.* Completing verification of all nominations and ensuring eligibility for property offered, as well as all associated administrative tasks in relations to the voids and allocations process (including but not limited to: sending emails, updating Capita, preparing and completing documents, obtaining certificates etc).Only applicants who feel they meet the above criteria and can interview virtually in week commencing Monday 8th February 2021 and start by the end of February need apply for this post.
