A care worker team is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join an expanding clinical support worker team working in the Epsom area. This position is offered on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This Support Worker role comes with an annual salary of up to £20,874, with flexible shifts available. As a member of the support staff, you will help deliver an integrated support service for participants in the Community Living Service, and to discharge community services responsibilities within an allocated registered service.If youd have been working in this Epsom based Support Worker role last week, you would have:. Provided support and assistance to people in accordance with their support plans. Undertaken initial and ongoing assessments of clients in the capacity of a mental health support worker. Been a critical worker for people with complex or multiple needs. Devised, reviewed and updated support plans, recorded events and observations and kept appropriate recordsYou will also work with individuals with vision impairment and other physical disabilities. This could be with individuals experiencing symptoms of old age or mental health needs. As a community services support worker, you will be expected to use your initiative and act appropriately in emergencies, e.g. contacting GP, community health, emergency services, etc.To apply for this care job, you will need to have evidence of Manual Handling, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Medication training. The ideal Support Worker will also:. Have previous experience with blind / partially sighted people and other disabilities. Be able to drive, with own transport and clean licence.
