Senior Cardiac PhysiologistAfC Band 6 This is an exciting time to join the Cardiology Department at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are developing our existing catheter lab service to a 5 day/week service with plans to incorporate complex CRT device and ICD implants, in addition to an Electrophysiology and ablation service.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Cardiac Physiologist to support our expanding devices service.This is a full time position and will be based across the 2 sites of Epsom and St Helier hospitals.The Cardiology Investigations Unit currently supports 6 cardiologists with interests in intervention, imaging, heart failure and devices. We have excellent links with St George’s, The Royal Brompton, Harefield and St Peter’s.The Unit offers a full range of non-invasive investigations such as echocardiography, non-medically supervised exercise tolerance tests, tilt tests, ambulatory monitoring, and a busy device implant and follow-up service.You should have considerable experience as a qualified Cardiac Physiologist within the devices field and will have completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent).
