Job Description

As an award winning financial services organisation who have been in business for over 125 years, they take great pride on providing a professional service to over 47,000 customers throughout England and Wales.They are currently looking to recruit a recent Graduate to join them seeking with a view to train and devote a Regulatory Reporting Accountant. Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Reporting Accountant, you will see yourself becoming involved in all aspectsof regulatory reporting that will see yourself become trained on this part of the business where responsibilities can will include:

  • Preparing quarterly/monthly COREP, FINREP, PRA and BOE returns for review
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual Pillar 3 disclosures documents
  • Ensuring procedures, assumptions and interpretations of regulatory reporting rules and guidance are fully documented and kept up to date
  • Liaising with internal audit, risk and compliance during periodic reviews
  • Assisting in regulatory reporting project work
As a recent graduate it is essential that you have excellent and demonstrable analytical and numerical skills (including confident Excel skills), together with confident written and verbal communication skills, advanced Excel and who is willing to train,study and take on ongoing responsibilities.This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone looking to build and develop and long-term career and can be office based OR working from home (WFH) and only having to visit the office a couple of times a week.In return the role offers professional study support and training, together with an excellent remuneration and benefits package that includes an annual bonus, pensions, generous holiday overtime, hybrid working, free parking and various social events throughoutthe year, further information is available on application.
