Job Description

Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / Early Years PractitionerOption for successful candidate to work with any age groupWe are currently recruiting 2 x Nursery Practitioners for our stunning, award winning childrens day nursery and preschool in Epsom, in the town centre and a very short walk from the station.We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, happy and rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children from 3 months - 5 years.We are a 90 place setting and invest heavily in out facilities, including smart boards, a separate purpose built baby unit and our very own soft play area.   • Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the childrens needs.
  • Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
  • Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
  • Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.
The ideal candidate will;
  • Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
  • Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
  • Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable)
  • Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS- Early Years Foundation Stages

The role is full time and salary is negotiable, reflecting experience and qualifications.
