Job Description

Marketing ExecutiveA fabulous opportunity working in Epsom to support the Head of Business Development and staff (particularly in Business Development, Marketing, and Events) in achieving its activities and targets.

  • Assist with any marketing or business development campaigns as required
  • Supervise and produce weekly email marketing campaigns
  • Ensure campaign spreadsheet and Dot Mailer campaign is complete and sent out
  • Monitor alert analytics and take appropriate action when click to open rates drop off
  • Investigate web contact firms ensuring that the data is then passed on for processing
  • Monitor various website and marketing email boxes
  • Responsibility for the communications and marketing of all conferences and events
  • Help increase attendance by finding new ways to promote the conferences
  • Develop the design of conference communications with assistance from the Visual Designer when necessary
  • Searching and ordering branded items and promotional gifts when requested
  • Seek several quotes for all items to be ordered and assess the best value for money
  • Assisting the Web Designer in maintaining social media presence and ED blog
  • Updating posts and sites within the website under the direction of the Web Designer
  • Producing evaluation forms and analysing the content post events
  • Assisting the conference team in creating a conference website for each conference
  • Work with and support the Visual Designer with production of conference materials
  • Manage the image library and assist with Web Designer duties during their absence
  • Proactive in sourcing material/images/content for social media and website when necessary
  • Assist the Web Designer in populating the App for conferences
  • Assist the Web Designer with updating the website news section
  • Assisting the Web Designer in maintaining website and social media platforms including Huddle where necessary
  • Person Specification:
  • Qualification in marketing or similar, however, demonstrable experience and ability would be considered
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate and qualified, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint 2013/16 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013/16, In Design or equivalent, CSS and HTML.
  • Experience using online content marketing applications such as Survey Monkey, DotMailer or similar
  • Have a flexible and hands on attitude to make things happen while ensuring consistent high-quality information
  • Good attention to detail, highly organized with ability to multitask
  • A clear ability to work under pressure and independently as necessary, with tight deadlines
  • Experience of interacting with senior professionals would be an advantage
  • Additional Information:
  • Based in Epsom
  • £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
  • Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm with 30 minute lunch break
  • 23 days holidays + 2 days at Christmas if the office is closed + 8 bank holiday
  • 5% discretionary bonus
  • Pension 5%
