Job Description

DBA - Database Administrator sought with BOTH Oracle RDMS and MS SQL who has worked in both a Windows Server and Unix (Sun Solaris). My Client is a leading Financial Services company based close to Epsom, Surrey who offer a competitive salary package for this permanent role.I am looking for a DBA - Database Administrator to join asmall team of specialists (who sit within a large organisation) responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Oracle and SQL Relational Database Server (RDBMS) installations to agreed time and quality specifications. This includes Supporting and maintaining UK application and interfaces. Key experience sought are:

  • Strong Oracle Database Administrationexperience (i.e. RDBMS Oracle 11g)
  • Strong SQL Server(i.e. 2008 - current)
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining business-critical applications within a disparate technical infrastructure
  • Database & Applications running under Unix (Sun Solaris) and Ms Windows server
  • Cloud technologies - Azure / AWS
  • Experience of2nd/3rd line in-house support, scripting and IT Project work
    • In addition to the skills above if you have any Informatica ETL, Scripting / Automation and data warehousing, ITIL or project management experience this would be a bonus.My Clients offices are based close to Epsom Surrey but are in a rural location so they are seeking a car driver for this in house role.
