A National Defence client has a contract opportunity for a C++ Engineer to join them working on a Human Machine Interface for a military vehicle, you will be joining an established cross discipline team working on the next generation development.C++ QT Software RoleThe role includes completing C++ on a Windows 10 Target platform running a Win Embedded Host, you will be using a QT frame work for GUI work and Restful interface using UDP, CANBUS, RS232 Protocols. This will be a raw data output so knowledge of SQL is useful, as is familiarity with Linux but this is not essential. The position is paying a competitive hourly rate and is for an initial 6 month contract but can extend for the right person. Due to practical implications of the military vehicle it is necessary to come on-site as and when required but this will be as infrequent as possible.
