Job Description

Quality EngineerI am currently working with an automotive client, supporting their search to find a Quality Engineer to join the growing team. The successful Quality Engineer will be focused on promoting continuous improvement of the processes and systems within the company.Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of TS16949 and ISO14001 management systems.
  • Conducting internal audits.
  • APQP processes for new product introduction.
  • Highlight future product quality concerns for escalation to be resolved.
  • Experience co-ordinating customer quality approval submissions.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of internal procedures and systems.
  • Relationship building with key customers.
  • Make appropriate judgements on quality matters on behalf of the customer.
  • Lead problem solving activities and promote the application of structured problem-solving tools (Practical Problem Solving & 8D working).
  • To ensure effective communication to customers in all aspects of quality related activities.
  • To ensure all customer expectations for communication and problem responses are met.
    • Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with both internal and external customers.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with continuous development.
  • PPAP.
