Job Description

Installation / Service EngineerEssexSalary negotiable depending on experience

  • 40 hrs per week - Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
  • 20 Days Holiday

    • Our client are looking for a hardworking, passionate field based security systems engineer to work alongside their current team.The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude and have a willingness to continue to learn in the industry.As a company they install, commission and service the following systems:
  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • Intruder Alarm
  • Fire Alarms
  • Emergency Lighting Systems
    • As an Installation/Service Engineer, you will have the following experience:
  • Minimum 5 - 7 Years’ experience in installing, maintaining and servicing Access Control CCTV and Intruder Alarm (Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting would be advantageous)
  • Previous experience of service or maintenance within the electronic security industry, integrating security systems (CCTV, Access Control) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in systems such as Paxton, AXIS, Comelit, BPT, HIK Vision, Texecom, Pyronix
  • Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple Jobs simultaneously
  • Ability to make decisions, prioritise tasks and work on own initiative to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Understanding of IP networking (highly desirable)
    • The successful Installation/Service Engineer will hold:
  • Full Clean UK Driving License (Required)
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) (Required)
  • Language: English Spoken & Written (Required)
  • Any relevant Security/CCTV/ a installation qualification (Desirable)
