SEN Teaching AssistantAre you a dedicated and experienced SEN TA looking for a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with a non-verbal child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the heart of Enfield If so, we have the perfect role for you!Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield Sector: Education and TrainingAbout the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Year 1 at our school in Enfield, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a non-verbal child with ASD on a 1-2-1 basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a childslife and develop your career.Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a non-verbal Year 1 student with ASD.
Implement effective communication techniques tailored to the childs needs.
Assist the child in their daily activities and learning tasks.
Support the childs active participation in class and recreational activities.
Be prepared to provide personal care when necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably with non-verbal children with ASD.
Strong understanding of communication strategies for non-verbal children.
Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Ability to adapt and work closely with the teaching team and parents.
Relevant qualifications in education and training are a plus.
