Job Description

Sales Controller / Assistant Sales ManagerMotor Retail DealershipEnfield (EN1)£25,000 pa, OTE £50k pa, car + benefits4 weekdays + Saturdays and alternate SundaysRenault Enfield seeks an experienced Sales Controller to join our dealership’s busy New and Used Car Sales Team. Based on the Crown Road (EN1) your responsibility will include controlling the sales process and prospecting activity of our New and Used Car Sales Executives.This is a busy, productive and profitable team dealing with a huge number of customers, enquiries and sales leads. You will need to be organised, efficient and prepared to deputise for management in various responsibilities and areas of the day-to-day running of the department.We are exclusively seeking candidates are operating as a Sales Controller, Deputy Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Business Manager or Senior Sales Executive in their current role. Previous experience with the Renault and/or Dacia brand is advantageous, but we can consider candidates with new and / or used car sales control experience with other main dealers.The main duties include:

  • Controlling the sales process carried out by the department’s Sales Executives
  • Helping the Sales Executives to manage their diaries effectively
  • Fairly distributing incoming leads and enquiries to the sales team
  • Drive Sales Executives’ prospecting activity and providing regular progress reports on the sales funnel’ to management
  • Second-facing customers through the sales process - a strong feature of this role
  • Carrying out vehicle part-exchange appraisals / valuations
  • Working closely with management and manufacturer partners to drive profit, sales and customer satisfaction to new levels
    • Hours of work
  • 4 weekdays + Saturday and alternating Sundays
  • 8am to 6:00pm weekdays
  • Saturdays 8:30am to 5pm
  • Sundays 10am to 4pm
  • One regular weekday off per week
    • In return we offer a basic salary of £25,000 per annum, bonus scheme OTE circa £50,000 pa plus a demo car from day one.
