An exciting opportunity has become available in the Radiology Department of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust for a Band 3 Radiographic Departmental Assistant (RDA).We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable RDA to become part of our Radiology Team within our Barnet and Chase Farm General Hospital and Satellite Sites (Finchley Memorial Hospital and Edgware Community Hospital).The position has arisen following the Government’s initiative to create Community Diagnostic Hubs (CDH) for patients to obtain their diagnostics tests. There has been subsequent approval to install a Canon Aquilion PRIME SP (80) CT scanner to launch from the 1st of April 2021 at the Finchley Memorial Site.The RDA role will initially be based at the Finchley Memorial Site however there will rotation to our other sites within the Royal Free London Group and possibility of rotating to other NCL regions. Your role would also involve rotation through X-Ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging and involve IV Cannulation in these areas when required.
