Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Consultantto work within ourLocal Authority Sector Team, selling stairlifts to end users via Local Authorities in South West England and South Wales.Ideal candidates will be based within a 45-mile radius of Bristol,with good access to the M4 motorway.You will take over the management of a number of existing Local Authority relationships which you will develop in order to maximise the strength of engagement whilst building new relationships and prospecting for opportunities in order to grow and developthe area. You will act upon referrals from those Local Authorities, visiting clients in their homes to assess their needs and their suitability for a stairlift and where appropriate providing a quotation.This is a customer-focussed role, which will need excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal, supported by the confidence to liaise effectively at all levels. Ideal candidates will be computer literate and have previous experience within Sales,preferably within the Local Authority or Home Adaptations sector.A valid full driving licence and DBS clearance is essential to the role.Person Requirements:

  • Ability to initiate and develop business relationships to commercial advantage
  • Motivation and organisational skills to work from a home office environment and manage your own diary
  • Focused on achieving sales targets through providing a customer focused solution throughout the sales process
  • Capable of understanding the technical issues involved with the provision of stairlifts
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • GCSE Maths and English C grade and above (or equivalent)
