Job PurposeThe Insurance Administration Officer position is permanent and full-time, the successful candidate will report into the Head of Operations. They will be responsible for dealing with insurance policy queries from both members of the public and secondary intermediaryretailers such as motor dealers and creating relevant management information. This is a mix of office ( Emersons Green, Bristol ) and home based .Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete mid term policy adjustments and answer queries from policyholders regarding cover levels and policy terms
  • Provide information and data as applicable to retailers of insurance products
  • Plan and manage your workload to ensure SLAs and project milestones are met and excellent Customer Service is delivered.
  • Ensure clients are set up on all applicable operational and management systems in accordance with agreed SLAs
  • Produce accurate monthly bordereaux reports for the finance department and insurer
  • Work with peer groups throughout Administration Services to ensure consistency of approach/best practice.
  • Interface with internal technical support to resolve issues that directly impact partners.
  • Work with Insurer Client Service Managers ensuring that clients expectations are set and achieved.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, Code of Conduct and Information Security.
All activities to be handled in accordance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedure.What do I need to succeed
  • Be able to manage consumer and retail relationships with a professional approach
  • Have a proven track record of working within an insurance administration role, ideally demonstrating performance over a minimum of one year.
  • Have good investigation and analytical skills, particularly when reviewing complex and ambiguous information.
  • Have good organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritise individual workload.
  • Possess good written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Comply at all times with companies principles, ethics, commitments and codes of practice.
  • Must achieve and maintain minimum levels of competency for all aspects of the role and as defined by company policy.
