Job Description

Grafton Recruitment are recruiting a permanent Production Planner for a market leading FMCG manufacturer based in North Lincolnshire. As part of a small office-based team, you will be required to effectively plan and allocate workstreams to the Factory floor. Operating to very tight deadlines within this fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will have a proven background in performing and delivering results under pressure.Production Planner Job Details:Type: PermanentHours: 7am-4.30pm core hours, Days, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekSalary: £CompetitiveLocation: North LincolnshireProduction Planner Key Responsibilities:

Daily communication with customers and internal sales department to plan customer requirements

Work cross functionally across different departments i.e. Logistics, Technical and Operations

Develop a production plan detailing all tasks and timelines regarding customer/shipping deadlines

Monitor production progress to ensure its following the agreed schedule

Monitor stock levels held on site and plan for replenishment

Prepare reports about production processes / management

Add value and propose methods to continually drive overall Factory / Production efficiency / improvements

Be part of a Change Management team to help identify and deliver improved IT functions within the Planning Operation

Attend and facilitate daily / weekly production meetings

Production Planner Candidate Requirements:

Experience of working within a fast paced Food/FMCG planning department

Decisiveness, Leadership, Excellent Organisational Skills

Good Written and Oral Communication skills

Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel

Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and understanding of Business Operations

Attention to Detail, Speed and Accuracy, with the ability to Meet Deadlines.
