Are you an experienced Cost Accountant with experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment Do you have the ability to research, compile, analyse multiple sources of data Do you have experience monitoring inventory / stock ...If so, contact Ashley Kate Finance to discuss a new role based at our global clients site near Brigg in North Lincolnshire.Working with the Senior Cost Accountant, providing consistent costing data and analytics to give insight into product costs. Develop in depth reporting on variances, costs and margins. You will develop SAP processes and knowledge to optimise the available data for business decision making and performance improvement. Along with being responsible for analysing material, labour, subcon and overhead costs for the products manufactured. Youwill generate accurate weekly, monthly, and adhoc financial reports to provide visibility into and analysis of expected (budgeted) and actual costs of goods sold and inventory levels. Along with performing periodic cost reviews and analysis to recommend andimplement changes in cost estimating models (emphasis on job costings) You will have the opportunity of improving the costing models and revamp to latest cost structures post MBO (reflecting cost ownership, usage and absorption principles moving forward) Cost Accountant - About you

• Proven background in Cost Accounting absolutely essential
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or business-related degree desirable
• Must have a strong Cost systems background
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles.
• Desirable Criteria:
• Experience working within a Manufacturing environment
• Experience with SAP a plus
• Experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards
