Is it time to find the perfect job for you in time for the new yearReed Health and Care is excited to be working with a new client to recruit for a Deputy Home Manager for a nursing home in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.Job Title: Deputy Home ManagerSalary: £46,606 per annum and paid overtimeLocation: Ellon AberdeenshireContract: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) PermanentThe home is a purpose-built location, in the quaint town of Ellon, less than half an hour from Aberdeen. The group is known for high standards of care and support to residents with a wide range of conditions and needs.The role of Deputy Home Manager is to ensure the highest standards of person-centred care is delivered by the team in the home, while also supporting the home manager to complete management tasks. You will lead by example and support in the development ofthe nursing and care team within the home. Other responsibilities may include:

  • Clinical oversight of residents
  • Leading compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Liase with home manager and the Care Inspectorate
  • Acting up in absence of the home manager
The successful applicant of this role will receive in return:

The perfect candidate for this role will have:
  • Previous experiencein a management role
  • Proven clinical experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • A valid NMC pin (RMN or RGN)
  • A good understanding of regulatory requirements
  • A excellent understanding of the Health and Social Care standards
  • Full and valid right to work in the UK (without sponsorship)
