Job Description

As a Software Tester youll be part of the Business Systems Team and your primary purpose will be to test technical solutions to support business processes and support updates to existing solutions.Youll take responsibility for testing developed software against business requirements and provide guidance to other team members and participate in a continuous improvement process for the testing function.The role and responsibilities of Software Tester:

  • Creating test plans, test cases and scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications and providing test estimates.
  • Developing and updating automated test scripts to match requirements
  • UX/UI testing and regression testing
  • Documenting test results, and compiling results into consolidated high-level reports
Skills and experience required to be a successful Software Tester:Essential
  • 3+ years experience as a Software Test Analyst (or similar)
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an Agile (SCRUM / Kanban) framework
  • Experience in Integration Testing
  • Experience in Automated testing
  • Experience in performance testing
  • Experience in testing API/DB
  • Basic MSSQL Scripting knowledge.
Desirable
  • Automated testing using Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • ISQTB qualified
  • Knowledge of some test frameworks and solutions to manage complexity
  • Strong background in software integration and system testing
  • Experience working with .NET/ASP/Azure technologies.
