A SMALL SNAPSHOT OF THE SENIOR COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE DAY:This role will require someone who is used to using a GDS system such as Amadeus or Galileo. This role sits within the Airline Fares Department.
  • As a Senior Commercial Operations Executive you will be part of a busy team who maintain and develop relationships with suppliers
  • Maximising the efficiency of the commercial team by ensuring the company has the best products / fares available
  • Focusing on all aspects of the supply of airline fares including communication the commercial team and wider team all updates of airline rules, policies, fares, and pricing
  • As a team respond to fare queries and provide support to customers and teams within the business
  • Monitoring the Fares Department inbox and distributing accordingly
  • Have a clear understanding of each airlines fare structure and ensure all tasks relating to the distribution / changes of these fares
  • Assist the team and provide guidance when needed
  • And much, much more! This is a very busy and varied role.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR APPLICATION:
  • Experience of using a GDS
  • Understand airline fares including net fares and cat 25/35 pricing
  • Understand flight sales market
  • Working knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Have a positive and effective communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
