Job Description

Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join their client, a recycling business based in Ellesmere Port.Reporting to the MD, the purpose of the role is to provide sales and logistics support to the business whilst providing a first-class customer service to customers.Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Driver scheduling (& route planning coordinating with the Drivers)
  • Maintain database of logistics partners.
  • Ensure transport pricing is effective with the right partners
  • Booking haulage for outbound/inbound sales
  • Generation of WTN (Waste Transfer Notes) and WB tickets
  • Sending out quotes to target customers
  • Booking in collections
  • Improve vehicle utilisation across Ellesmere Port and Northeast
  • Use Waste Logics and the company CRM system to increase effectiveness e.g. customer frequency report and logistics analysis
  • Carry out follow up calls to existing customers to obtain feedback and maintain a good customer service experience
  • Managing sales channels: sales inboxes, slack, social media
  • Sending samples to customers.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar environment, must be motivated to manage own workload under minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to liaise at all levels is essential.Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to FridaySalary is negotiable dependent on the skills and experience to offerAcorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
