Job Description

Seven Social Care is looking for a Young Peoples Advisor to start a new role in the Leaving Care team in Ellesmere Port. This is initially a temporary post for 3 months a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.The role:The role of the Young Peoples Advisor is to provide ongoing support, advice, and guidance to promote the capacity of each young person to develop the skills necessary to live independently. Enhance the ability for all young people leaving care, enablingthem to realise their full potential and become successful in all aspects of their lives. Provide a targeted, outcomefocusedservice to children and young people who are legally defined as a care leaver and therefore entitled to services.Key Responsibilities:

  • The role is to provide ongoing support, advice, and guidance to promote the capacity of each young person to develop the skills necessary to live independently.
  • Enhance the ability for all young people leaving care, enabling them to realise their full potential and become successful in all aspects of their lives.
  • Provide a targeted, outcomefocusedservice to children and young people who are legally defined as a care leaver and therefore entitled to services.
  • Offer supervision and manage caseloads, working alongside a team of experienced young peoples advisors, social workers, and team manager.
