Mechanical/Electrical Fitter Ellesmere Port Salary - £34,000 - £40,000 DOEAre you a multi skilled fitter, with experience in plant machinery, shredders & balers or forklift trucks and telehandlers looking for your next opportunity, within an ever growing and pioneering company Our client is a high growth recycling company with ambitious plans to create a circular economy for tyres. They use innovative technology to extract all raw material from a used tyre. These raw materials are sold to manufacturers to create new products. Providinga sustainable solution for businesses and are expanding our services across the UK. We are looking for an ambitious Mechanical/Electrical Fitter at our Ellesmere Port facility. You will contribute to the smooth running of the operations and report into the Mechanical Engineer. You will work days on a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift pattern. We are looking for someone who is has a strong work ethic with an ambition to take on challenges and progress their career. What youll do* Championing health and safety by making sure all necessary PPE is worn and SSOWs are followed * Ensure work is completed in a safe and timely manner and recorded accordingly * Carry out PPM maintenance and record all details of inspections * Carry out routine checks in the workshop area to make sure all tools are organised and maintained accordingly and kept in good condition * Plan, rig, sling, and act as banksman for simple lifting operations * Ensuring work areas are kept clear at all times and that unused or waste material is returned or disposed of properly * Assist with ad hoc projects as required What youll need * Previous experience with maintaining heavy-duty machinery is essential * Team player who is dedicated with excellent time keeping skills * Understanding of electrical systems * Fabrication experience is desirableWhat we offer* Perk Box, a benefit which provides discounts on everyday purchases and an Employee Assistance Programme * Career progression opportunities with a growing business * A dynamic site which is always looking to develop the people and process further If the above sounds of interest then hit apply and get in touch.
