The Governing Body of a primary school in EllesmerePort, in collaboration with Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is searching for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team.About the EYFS Teaching Assistant role:

  • As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an exciting, challenging, and stimulating learning environment for young learners.
  • Your adaptability and enthusiasm will be key as you address specific learning needs in a fun and caring manner.
  • Initially focusing on the friendly and creative infant department, your potential to provide 1:1 support across the school may be explored, showcasing your flexibility and dedication.
Candidate Requirements: We are seeking individuals with an accepted Early Years qualification (L2/L3), and preference will be given to candidates with phonics knowledge/experience and Paediatric First Aid qualifications. While experience in an Early Years/KeyStage 1 setting is desirable, knowledge of the EYFS framework is equally valued. The right candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.Working Hours and Start Date: This position offers 30 hours per week, covering 38 weeks per year. Commencing on 2 January, or potentially earlier for the right candidate, this initially temporary role may transition to a permanent opportunity, aligning withyour career aspirations.Ensuring Child Safety: The school community places the highest priority on child safety.
