Division Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work within Childrens Social Care based in Cheshire East Councils busy CWD Service.The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is up to £40 per hour and has an initial 3-month contract.About this role:We are recruiting an experienced Children and Family Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. The team is based at Ellesmere Port, and is co-located with the Transitions Team, SEN and Education Teams to ensure a seamless and consistentservice to our most vulnerable children. The Team provides a statutory social work service to children who live across the Cheshire West borough so you will be required to travel between Chester, Winsford, Northwich and Ellesmere Port districts. Initiallythis will be for 3 months. The purpose of the role will be to undertake Children and Families Assessments of children and young people with disabilities and work along side social workers in the team to ensure that needs are assessed. You will need to haveexperience of working with children and young people with disabilities.We will offer you access to our inhouse training in support of your CPD, free parking at all our office bases, good quality supervision and opportunities for reflective discussion and reflection.The Team is based in Ellesmere Port and we currently work a hybrid arrangement of home and office working.Requirements of the Social Worker:
