Job Description

Radiographer | Band 5/6 depending on experience | Elland| 37.5 hours Flexible Monday – Friday, occasional weekendsSpire Elland is looking for a Diagnostic Radiographer to join our experienced and dynamic imaging team.Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site who practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, cardiology and pain management.Duties and responsibilities

  • Providing highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients and to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
  • Communicateappropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
  • Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained
  • Who were looking for
  • You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC . We will consider applications from both experienced and newly qualified candidates.
  • For female applicants, experience in mammography and possess a mammography qualification would be an advantage-though a willingness to train in this field would definitely be considered.
  • You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
  • Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
