As the Senior Graphics Manager within this industry leading technology corporate, you will manage a team of Gaming & Graphics Engineers focused on supporting the Game Development industry through the provision of the Game Ecosystem and providing Software & Hardware platforms that deliver world class experiences for the mobile gaming consumer.The Senior Graphics Manager will enjoy a high-profile role within the European Gaming Community representing the company with gaming industry partners including Graphic Chip Suppliers, Game Developers, Game Engine Providers and Platform Owners to develop technical standardisation for 3D Graphics API’s. Along with optimising current game engines and promoting new technologies, the Senior Graphics Manager will also lead & manage their team of Gaming & Graphics Engineers who work with Game Engine Providers and Game Developers to promote Best Practice and to achieve maximum performance of new titles on mobile platforms. Anticipated to have a technical Graphics background and successful experience within the Gaming industry, the Senior Graphics Manager will be a dynamic and creative leader with excellent communication skills combined with a passion for PC/mobile gaming & 3D Graphics. Within the company at a European & Global level, the Senior Graphics Manager will contribute to the strategy for maximising the reach and impact of mobile gaming whilst externally presenting and speaking at public events such as the Game Developers Conference. Skills and Qualifications: - BSc or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related disciplines- A background in the computer games industry- Good understanding of GPU technology and trends- Good working knowledge of one or more 3D Graphics technologies (DirectX, OpenGL, Metal or Vulkan)- Ability to represent the corporation professionally in external engagement at a senior level with strategic partners and third parties- An effective communicator able to clearly present complex ideas to large groups both internal and external to the company.- Ability to create meaningful, engaging presentations and deliver them to diverse audiences- Willingness to travel internationally.- Experience of managing small to medium sized teamsUseful Experience:- Experience of working in standards / specification groups- A degree of commercial acumen ideally built upon a solid technical foundation- Knowledge of the mobile device market- Familiarity with Android or iOS- Public speaking experienceInterested Candidates with relevant skills should apply now and can expect initial feedback on their application within 72 hours.
