Security Awareness & Education Specialist - Assistant 6 month contractBased: Egham£12/14 per hourHybrid working - 1 day in officeRole: You will be working within the education and awareness team who are responsible for developing and delivering the training and awareness programme to bring security top of mind for everyone in the business.This is an exciting time to join the Global Information Security Team and our client is looking for someone who can support them with the day-to-day running of their new awareness programme, educating and engaging their people globally. You need to be passionateabout information security and working within a team with a mission to reduce information risk across the company.The role assists and reports to our Education and Awareness Specialist with security awareness, security training, communication, and planning. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the information security awareness tools such as anti-phishingetc., generating reports and supporting material for senior management, and assisting the development of programme with our colleagues in Business Units and technology teams.This role requires some knowledge of information security activities across technology, process, and governance. Security processes and services within the Belron Group are being constantly improved and a key part of this role will be to support the CISOEurope & Rest of the World in defining and regulating these as part of the virtual security team.Responsibilities Assist in supporting the education and awareness programme rollout to the wider business. Prepare phishing and awareness campaigns using our Information Security platform. Contribute and help create the development and integration of the training materials for the Global Information & Trust Compliance Programme. Support the Security Awareness lead in developing and managing the delivery of Information Security materials. Assist in the communication of existing Information Security processes and policy via our networks across Belron. Support analysis of training and phishing to provide continuous improvement of staff knowledge of information security. Support teams in each country to embed information security policy, processes, and awareness. Assist in the review policies on an annual basis. Assist in the co-ordination of information security training and awareness activities, across the organisation, and attend related user group meetings as necessary. Help maintain risk, issue and change registers for information security training and awareness. Assist in the reporting of the information security work being carried out by the team.Skills & Experiences RequiredLevel of Education An appropriate degree or equivalent, ideally in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.Work Experience Experience in a project or other fast-paced environment providing day-to-day support for the lead, including regular reporting and planning. Experience or interest in information security initiatives. Ability to maintain composure and work effectively under pressure. Experience in business education / training ideally in a technology area. Experience in managing third party companies, ideally in a security context. Experience in supporting an information security programme. Experience of GDPR and Data Security. Experience generating and providing content for consumption within an organisation.Knowledge & Skills A Self- starter with the ability to work independently and virtually. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Confident using Excel and other platforms for monitoring results and reporting. Confident using PowerPoint to present reporting. Experience working to tight timescales. Experience of using phishing and / or training platforms. Experience of using analytical skills and contributing ideas and a plan based on results and themes presented.
