Job Description

Finance ManagerCantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our client based in Egham.The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing all day-to-day financial operations within the company including purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, bank reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, quarterly VAT submissions
  • Posting monthly accounting journals (payroll, car lease, depreciation etc)
  • Overseeing operations department employees including executive and finance assistants
  • Liaising with external accountants for annual accounts preparation, company tax affairs, VAT submissions
  • Preparing monthly and cumulative management accounts against budget
  • Reporting financial position of the company at quarterly board meetings and with company directors
  • Tracking financial performance of the company and identify areas for improvement.
  • Preparing annual financial budget
The Finance Manager will have:
  • Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. ACA or ACCA)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to be flexible to respond to any urgent issues that may arise.
  • Proficiency in use of accounting software
