A new client of ours in the freight/logistics industry is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager for their finance team .This is a small company with a team of 5 who are growing rapidly and doubled in size in the last 5 years with a turnover of circa 5 million. The Accounts Managerpositionis a key role in this company and my client is looking for someone who is AAT Qualified or Qualified by experience, reliable, responsible and has good accounting knowledge and looking for a stable position.As the Accounts Manager you will report to the MD directly ( as this is a sole role)Main functions will cover:Sales Ledger• Credit control duties• Credit checks & setting credit limitsPurchase Ledger• Checking statements and making payments to suppliers• Overseas payments via FX account• Forward contracts on USD & EUR ( multicurrency experience and multi contras)• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, HMRC DAN statements - just about everything reallyCompany• Controlling cash flow• Salaries & payslips• Pension• Daily transfer of data from Boxtop to Sage• Update rates of exchange on Boxtop• Ensuring there are no or very minimal r/ex losses• Year-end figures / preparation of accounts before presentation to accountants.• Checking final accounts before they are filed to Companies HouseFinancial Reporting• Monthly profit reporting to MD• Other reports as requested by MDGovernment• PAYE reporting & payment• P11d’s, P60’s• VAT returnsCo Benefits include - 20 days holidays increasing by 1 day per year after 2 yrs service to max 25 days plus bank holidays, Private Medical insurance, auto enrolment pension, annual pay review, bonus based on company and individual performance,free parking.If you are an experienced Accounts Manager, with at least 5 years experience in a sole role and can work in an office based role Mon - Fri ( with free parking) please contact Vinny Basra at The Staines office.Interviews to be held week commencing 3rd July ( happy to look at candidates on notice)Contact Vinny Basra at the Staines Accountancy office
