Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transactionbanking.HSBC Market & Securities Services (MSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services.We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Transfer Agency AdministratorThis role sits within the UK Transfer Agency Investor Services team dealing with daily correspondence and some handling of inbound telephone enquiries with a focus on managing and servicing requests from Investors. This covers both retail and institutionalinvestors.The primary purpose will be to support multiple Asset Managers with a range of products (OEICS, Unit Trusts, ISAs, Investment Trusts), to include quality controls, oversight and maker/checker processes.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of busy and supportive team of 20 whereby you will enjoy varied client engagement.Key responsibilities will include:* Managing queries from both retail and institutional investors via email, telephone and post* Answering client queries in a timely and effective manner* Carrying out day to day processing of activities within the department to ensure that all tasks are processed in accordance with agreed procedures and controls and in accordance with relevant fund parameters* Providing written correspondence and resolutions to customer requests* Suggesting and implementing improvements to the Transfer Agency processes and procedures in consultation with the SupervisorQualifications To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:* Previous experience in Investor Services, Transfer Agency and/ or UK Funds industry is highly desirable * Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, someone who can build relationships quickly and be comfortable in having challenging conversations* Ability to effectively prioritise conflicting demands and work within a fast-paced environment * Strong problem-solving skills in order to provide solutions to customer queries whilst being detail orientated with excellent attention to accuracy* Financial Service experience is a must and some knowledge of Investment products such as OEICs, Unit Trusts, ISAs and/or Investment Trusts would be highly beneficialThe base location for this role is EdinburghAt HSBC we look to enable our employees to better balance your work / life priorities and have the flexibility required to meet challenging needs as they progress through different life stages.
