Job Description

Do you take pride in providing outstanding care to others Newcross Healthcare are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team providing care to our service users living with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviour across Haddington, North Berwick, Longniddry, Garvald, Ormiston, Tranent and the surrounding areas.If you have a NVQ2 in Health and Social Care or currently work in a supporting job you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process.Why choose Newcross

It is essential that you are confident in your ability to work in a calm and compassionate manner with a range of clients who vary in age, with each individual experiencing different challenges due to their physical or learning disabilities. You will be delivering personalised care in accordance with each service users unique care plan, with a mindful approach to protecting the dignity and promoting the independence of each individual.It is essential that you have prior experience of caring for service users living with learning disabilities, autism or challenging behaviour.   • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 months previous care experience
  • Certification in practical Moving & Handling course, completed in the last 12 months
