Search are bringing to market an exceptional opportunity for a Site Manager to join a long established Main Contracting business. The site manager will be working on a flagship new build project circa £10m situated in the Leith area, the project will involve the delivery of the full build of a high spec steel frame, 9 storey building, concrete floor slabs, brick and block work, full heightcladding, commercial roofing, specialist plant installation and fit out and will run until at least Q3 2022. The site manager will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure progression of works against programme, safety and quality targets, managing a large cross section of specialist sub contractors. This role is a great opportunity for someone to be involved from the earliest stages of a high profile project and we would welcome individuals at assistant or site manager level who have the right experience, skill set and attitude. To be considered you will need:* Demonstrable experience within main contracting * Sound technical knowledge of full build packages* Strong organisation and communication skills* Excellent Health and Safety Knowledge * Strong IT Skills* Technical qualification in Construction Management / Project Management or Civil Engineering. * Be resident within the East of Scotland - daily commutable distance to Edinburgh / Leith * Full UK Driving Licence The successful individual will be joining a great business with low staff turnover, a wide variety of project capabilities and excellent opportunity for career progression.
