We partner withour corporate, government and institutional clients to help them achieve consistent, long-term performance.HSBC Market & Securities Services (MSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services.We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Senior Fund Administrator - Transaction ManagementThis position sits within the Edinburgh Transaction Management Support team and has oversight for Transaction Management operational teams sited within our GSC locations in Kolkata and Colombo ensuring that the end service delivery to our clients meets theservice standards documented within our Service Level Definition.Transaction Management includes Trade Processing Support, Cash Processing Support and Cash Management Support.Supporting a global team this client facing position covers the below responsibilities;Act as an escalation point for BAU operational issues raised by Senior Management, Clients and other partiesIdentify and support resolution of high risk items within set timescalesHighlight and discuss all identified deficiencies with the Business Service Delivery owner to facilitate closureWhere required provide input to weekly / monthly Governance meetings with the GSC Operational Managers to discuss performance standards, ensuring these are documented within agreed timelines setLiaise and work with Change Management and Project teams, understanding their requirements and their impactMonitor Operational Readiness Sign Off and provision of onsite presence during implementation as requiredTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:Exemplary stakeholder management skills, be highly confident in your approachAbility to work autonomously and use own initiativeStrong attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essentialBe comfortable in working towards deadlines and meeting set SLAsSound analytical skills, a technical mindset coupled with the ability to demonstrate forward thinkingHighly IT literate and confident with ExcelKnowledge of Investment Operations and/or relevant qualification would be beneficial but by no means essentialThe role holder will ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation.
