Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding, innovative group of pharmacies providing NHS and Private services to the communities of Scotland.Our client is looking for a permanent Pharmacist to join the Relief team in a varied role, supporting numerous pharmacies across the Lothian area. This is a full time position working 5 days per week with every 2nd Saturday, hours vary depending on the store.Up to £50,000 per annum plus £2,000 bonus DOE (non IP) / up to £56,000 DOE plus £6000 bonus (IP Qualified). Our client also offers a competitive benefits package, including GPhC fees paid, bonus scheme, and excellent training on offer.Whether you are looking to use your Independent Prescribing qualification, or are looking to complete this, our client can support you.Ideal Requirements for the Relief Pharmacist

  • A GPhC registered Pharmacist perhaps fresh out of university looking for your first step into a pharmacist position, or an experienced Pharmacist looking for a new challenge.
  • Ideally a qualified Independent Prescriber or looking to complete this qualification.
Role Responsibilities for the Relief Pharmacist
  • Ensure all key targets are met and that excellent standards are consistently delivered will be crucial to your success.
  • General fulfilment of prescriptions.
  • Undertake key service provisions of aspects such as pharmacy first and other NHS services.
  • Support various pharmacy teams across different stores.
  • Build working relationships with patients, customers, and care homes.
  • Proactively develop pharmacy sales, services, and profitability in a cost effective and safe manner, adhering to legal, ethical and company requirements/ systems.
