If after reading this information you have any questions please contact Orla Prowse, Service LeadThe Rehabilitation Coordinator for the South East of Scotland Trauma Network leads the coordination of the rehabilitation pathway of all major trauma patients admitted to the Major Trauma Centre (MTC) at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.Responsible for the repatriation of Major Trauma patients throughout the South East Region and also the co-ordination of ongoing community rehabilitation.To create complex rehabilitation plans for patients by coordinating the assessment and treatment provided by the members of the major trauma rehabilitation team applying expert knowledge of multiprofessional and integrated team working and specialist knowledge of the contribution of the disciplines involved and services available, to ensure an effective and realistic plan for future rehabilitation development.
