Job Description

Salary: £58.3k - £70k per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications)Reference: REQ3624Do you want to be a part of an innovative and supportive team, where there are great opportunities for career progression and developmentAn opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Electrical & Instrumentation) within our Major Projects Team in Scotland.As a Project Manager (E&I) you will have a detailed understanding of with fixed electrical, instrumentation, telemetry, flow metering and gas quality systems with relevant project management experience, preferably in a gas transmission, distribution or relatedenvironment. You will be responsible for full lifecycle delivery of projects, safely and within budget and programme constraints.You will be part of a team working to successfully deliver gas infrastructure projects including transmission pipelines and above-ground installations.What you’ll need

  • Preferably educated to degree or HND level in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Electrical and instrumentation project experience in an engineering environment. Knowledge and experience of working in the gas, process or petrochemical industries would be an advantage. Experience of leading projects from inception to commissioning andreacting to changing priorities in a challenging environment.
  • Ideally you will hold, have held or be capable of holding, electrical authorisation within a similar engineering environment.
  • Previous experience at management/ supervisory level and effective influencing, coaching and communication skills whilst working with honesty and integrity at all times.
  • You will hold Professional Engineering Membership of an accredited professional body, or be working towards membership.
  • As this role will involve a significant amount of travel, you must have a valid driving licence and be willing to spend time away from your primary location.
