Job Description

The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organization, AMS is actively seeking a Project Manager for a 6-month contract based in Edinburgh (Hybrid Working).Purpose of the Role:As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all governance-related activities for the programme, including but not limited to governance documentation, approval processes, reporting, risk and issue management, financial management, and businesscase development.As a Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining, and updating all governance documentation in alignment with the established governance principles and guidelines.
  • Leading the documentation and approval process at Retail Governance forums, including Executive forums.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of a mobile proposition, integrating new mobile capabilities and features aimed at enhancing customers ability to manage their finances effectively.
  • Ensuring that payments journey seamlessly flow through the platform to optimise the payment experience for customers.
  • Managing and chairing monthly Executive/SRO Governance meetings, including pack collation, minutes, and actions.
  • Utilising the reporting tool Planview for Programme Executive reporting.
  • Identifying, collating, reporting, escalating, and managing risks and issues across multiple platform teams.
  • Managing relationships with Risk & Conduct, ensuring alignment and collaboration on governance matters.
  • Overseeing programme financial management, including forecasting, and reporting on actuals.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain business cases, ensuring adherence to governance guidelines.
What we require from the candidate:
  • Experience in governance documentation, change management and business case development.
  • Ability to leverage Planview, Zoom, and Teams effectively to streamline communication, and enhance project management processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
