Job Description

Due to a continued busy period an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Fitter join our team. The successful individual must take pride in their work and have a keen eye for detail.Reporting directly to the workshop manager and working within a small motivated team.Candidates will ideally have:

  • Have a background in repairing and maintaining agricultural, forestry or plant machinery.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Have a good understanding of hydraulics and auto electrics.
  • Be comfortable in a customer facing role installing and commissioning machinery on site.
  • Possess good spoken and written communication skills and be able to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Be practical, highly motivated and quick thinking with a proactive approach to all tasks.
  • Be comfortable towing trailers.
  • Have efficient time management and flexibility to get the job done.
Expectations will include:
  • Occasional UK wide travel and ad hoc nights away from home.
  • Installing, Commissioning, Repairing, Preparing, Demonstrating machines and equipment for sale/hire.
  • A background in the forestry industry, construction or agricultural machinery would be a distinct advantage. If you feel you have the skills and experience, please contact us to discuss.
