Job Description

NodeJS DeveloperEdinburghUp to £85k per annum plus excellent benefitsDo you believe you have strong UI development knowledge using NodeJSHave you worked on REST API design and development using MicroservicesDo you come with an Insurance Domain KnowledgeWe have the perfect role for you - NodeJS Developer.My client, an international organisation is looking for a permanent NodeJS Developer to join their growing team. You will work with one of their scrum teams to build, maintain and change (dependant on your performance you may quickly become a Lead).Key Responsibilities: -

  • Continuous improvement from process and technical point of view ensuring: -
o CI/CD principles are followedo Concentration on building microserviceso Understanding of cluster management of APIs and advise on impactso Contribute to wider organisational goals of Single Under LayerSkills & Experience: -
  • Hands-on working knowledge in NodeJS
  • Excellent experience in API / KOA API
  • Strong knowledge on Typescript and JavaScript (ES5 / ES6)
  • Knowledge on JEST/Jasmine framework
  • Hands-on in REST API design and development using microservices
  • Extensive knowledge in event-driven architecture
  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Previous usage of log visualiser, static code analyser, and code review tool
  • Deep understanding of OAUTH2 integration, Material UI, exposure in NEST JS and Swagger desired
  • Strong client facing experience i.e negotiating, team lead, supportive etc
