-Network Engineer-6 month initial contract-Edinburgh or Remote-Outside IR35-Immediate startNetwork Security Engineer required for a large Edinburgh-based client, to join the existing team as they continue their transformational Cloud journey. This position will provide support for the Enterprise Network which includes implementation and administrationof network security - both hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy, and working with other support teams to meet the enterprise business needs for customers.You will design and deliver across the internal network perimeter, including setting up hardware such as switches, routers and firewalls and also across AWS and M365. The role will involve a blend of data centre management, a wireless network refresh, NSX-Vto NSX-T support and other project-based work. Ongoing support of the data centre and campus network as well as the current network infrastructure will be expected as will consultancy / support for other teams / projects.The role will suit a candidate with a broad understanding of enterprise network security, with particular skills in a commercial setting of implementing complex concepts in Palo Alto security appliances and you will have operational experience of a large,complex network environments. Candidates will have worked within an agile environment and hold a CCIE / CCNP qualification or equivalent commercial experience additionally.Skills and Experience Summary (A blend of);
