JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel (Outsourcing & Commercial) PQE REQUIRED: 4+ LOCATION: Edinburgh SALARY: On application THE ROLE: Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated commercial solicitor with significant outsourcing experience in the regulatory environment. The Legal Counsel will have the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting the wider businessthrough involvement in material third party contracts (including outsourcing arrangements). This is a varied role with lots of interesting and value-add work to keep you busy, responsibilities will include:• Supporting the Group for all aspects of contract reviewing, drafting and negotiation.• Ensuring that, as required, a robust approach is taken to contracts with third parties to ensure a cost-effective approach is taken to procurement. • Putting in place precedents and tools for the wider legal team so they are able to confidently pick up and work on outsourcing and contracts with suppliers and other third parties.• Working on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and other strategic change projectsTHE CANDIDATE: Ideal candidates will have:• Solicitor qualified in England & Wales with a minimum of 4 years PQE in commercial in a financial services setting.• Detailed knowledge of outsourcing• Solid understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory landscape • Solid understanding of trust law• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsHOW TO APPLY: Contact Pasquale Agatiello at eNL on or email with your CV, or simply call for a confidential discussion. eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
