Job Description

First Achieves Engineering Division are working with a Global Supplying Precision Engineering company, who are seeking a Time-Served (Essential) Industrial Painter for a 3 - 6 Month Contract. As cover for their busy workshop.Whats on Offer;

  • Day shift/Nightshift, 2 week rotation. Shift allowance
  • Overtime available at x1.5
    • The Role
  • Able to read engineering drawings and understand customer requirements - paint processes
  • Preparation of jobs prior to painting mainly masking. Shot blasting.
  • Apply paint to products using brush, roller, conventional, airless and pressure pot spraying techniques
  • Achieve the results on the weekly work to list
  • Quality Checking own work
  • Ensure that all activities comply with all the relevant procedures and standards.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Other duties as required to meet the requirements of this position
    • The Successful Applicant must be:
  • Time Served Painter - Engineering, Aircraft, Automotive
  • Experienced in Paint Preparation - Masking and Shot Blasting
  • Proactive and confident team member
  • Self-starter and requires minimal supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible (Willing to work overtime).
  • Have a strong attention to detail and able to keep accurate records
  • Have knowledge in the use of PPE including air fed remote breathing equipment
